Cherry Mint Turkey Balls

500g ground turkey

1 medium onion

finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, pressed

1 bundle fresh mint, finely chopped

1 bundle fresh parsley, finely chopped

¼ cup dried cherries, pitted, finely chopped

2 eggs

1 tablespoon cumin

Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Chop the cherries finely
  2. Wash and spin-dry the herbs before chopping them finely
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl and mix well
  4. Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and, using your hands, mix everything together
  5. Form mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet
  6. Bake at 180°c for about 20 minutes or until the balls are lightly browned.
