Cheesy Chicken Balls

These are great for kids lunch boxes, snacks or a great plate to take to a dinner party/BBQ. Make a double batch and freeze them as they will sure disappear quickly! I'm sure you will find them a hit with everybody.

Ingredients

 

 

  • 500g Chicken Mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup of blended gluten free oats or almond meal (opt for nut free if taking to school)
  • ½ cup of grated cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • ¼ cup of chopped coriander or parsley
  • 1 tsp of  Changing Habits Seaweed Salt

 

Method

 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan forced. Line a baking tray with Baking paper or alfoil
  2. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, using your hands mix until combined.
  3. Roll mixture into approx 20 small balls, and arrange on lined tray.
  4. Bake for 25-30mins or until firm and golden.
Can be served on their own as snacks or kids lunch boxes, with a side or as an appetizer. They go great with homemade sweet chilli sauce or Homemade Tomato Sauce.
